maralee's new baby...
This past weekend I flew home for a baby shower in Wisconsin! It was a blast, but my sister Maralee having her baby surpasses the excitement of the great shower. She wasn't due until Tuesday so it wasn't planned that I would be there for the baby..but when she went into labor on Sunday we were all really excited.
Maralee had her baby at 11:00am on Sunday morning. There were a few hiccups so he is spending a few days in the NICU, but well on his way to healthy and coming home.
Maralee was a champ, no drugs, and is doing super! Labor was cake for her and was up and going instantly...just like her she doesn't miss a beat.
I was so lucky to be able to be there, due to the fact I won't be home for the baby blessing in March because I'll be pretty close to delivering myself. So it was a great visit.

oh my gosh, that is the cutest picture of Jack. I feel like I'm looking at your dad! It was great to see you and check up.
He's SO cute! Doesn't it make you SO excited?! I can't wait to see your adorable little babe! P.S. I finished my last chocolate yesterday...it was PURE BLISS! THANK YOU.
Ah the baby is so cute. I am so happy you just happen to be there for the birth. I bet Maralee is so happy too.
