Kelly & Diane with Linnaea
Chase watching Linnaea sleep...most likely thinking "when can I wake her up to play". Chase felt like there was an instant bond between them...on Sunday chase woke me up from our nap suggesting he could tell by Linnaea's cry that she needed him. It was good for Chase to see that babies are fun, but also tons of work!
Sometimes I tell chase, I feel like we are in the movie of Father of the Bride II, when steve martin and diane keaton are both thinking about how children are; Steve looks out one window and sees kids crying over ice cream, running from thier parents etc. and diane is looking out the other window seeing absolute perfect children smiling and laughing......Sometimes I think it's me & Chase, (me as steve Martin and chase as Diane Keaton) But I figure when the time comes, the experience will be in the middle.... absolute bliss and chaos combined.

Linnaea is so lucky..she can nap whenever and where ever she wants.
Giving her a bath....quite the experience. :)
So all in all...we had a super trip

that's so funny that you referenced father of the bride II because i just watched it the other day and bawled (it must be the hormones). and hello!!! its good to see you are alive and well because you NEVER return phone calls.
lol! I love that part of the the movie it is my favorite!
You two will make good and fun parents one day. I bet they loved having you all in town together.
I love a dark haired baby... lots of work huh? You two can come watch our two anytime for another lesson in what it's really like having kids!
