Marching on with our family of four

It has been really exciting the past few weeks as we have adjusted to having a family of four. Sadie adores claire and often sits and talks with her while I am busy. For the most part I have been so much happier with two kids than I was pregnant with one. I don't know about everyone else but for me the last few months was a little rough and I have regained energy that I couldn't have found if you paid me to a month ago. Sadie was a really good sport, but she deserves a mom that can play, not just one laying on the couch. So we made it through and now we are loving our new addition. Here are a few pictures of us through the last month. The first picture I had to put on here of sadie. She wouldn't let me take that pig pajama shirt off of her for 48 hours. I know it's totally sick, but I would take it off to try to put a new outfit on her and the following tantrum would wear me down and I would give in and put it back on her!! SO many tricks I tried to get her to give it to me so I could wash it, but oh well. It's washed now, I hope the 2 day stretch was a once only type of thing. Shelby came down to do festival of colors down south so she got to meet baby claire. It was fun to catch up and see her! Other pictures are just of us hanging out as a family the last month. Sadie has stepped up to the plate and is a huge helper holding sadie, helping me sew (which is sarcastically awesome I might add) and in one picture is on her way to help chase shovel snow. Thank you to all the friends and family who have sent their best wishes to us. As I am working on thank you's.... I wanted to get it out there that we appreciate you all and are grateful and amazed at the many sweet and wonderful things people have done for us this past month including dinners, home made quilts, sitters, sweet comments on facebook and our blog, etc.
