All the grandparents at the blessing
I cannot believe claire is 2 months old! Time has flown by and I guess I had no idea how quickly time can pass when there are two littles in the house to keep alive. Sadie is a dream as a big sister, she loves to involve claire in everything. Perfect example...yesterday she was busy with play dough when i found her molding her rolled-out strips of dough on claires face. Realizing what was going on right as she was putting some over Claire's nostrils i realized i need to step it up a notch in being vigilant. I know awesome huh?
Claire is doing great as far as gaining weight and figuring out her little body. She has started smiling, kicking, coo ing and all that fun stuff. We have had tons of friends and family in for her blessing this past weekend. It went perfectly and we are lucky to have her in our family.
Sadie turned 2 a couple weeks ago and she is talking up a storm. She and I have started to play board games and it's so fun to see her get it a little more every time. She is a hoot to have around and the most active cheerful (with a bit of drama as I'm sure can be imagined coming from me) girl to have around.
Chase and I are learning to thrive in survival mode again with a baby during the night. I am thrilled with the sleep we do get and we are learning tons of great things as parents of two...for example never to leave the house with one pacifier (yes we continue to be there) and that we aren't outnumbered yet so to count and take advantage of the breathers we do get.
And I can't forget a big shout out to all those mothers out there who pass by our family blog.....You are all phenomenal and incredible for sacrificing so much of yourself to do the hardest job in the world. Yes I know I am a mother so it sounds like I am patting myself on the back there too...which is not intended to come off like that. I have had one of those ah ha moments in my life pretty much for the last 2 years straight where I realized how much my mom did for me growing up and continues to do for me now and am more grateful for it than I ever have been. Happy MOthers Day!!

Glad all is going well with two little ones. You sound like you're adjusting very well. Happy Mother's Day. Better late than never, right? I miss you tons. Wish I could be there to watch the girls grow up.

What a wonderful weekend with all your family. I'm glad you are enjoying having 2 kids and adjusting to the extra work. Addison really enjoyed playing with Sadie, everytime we are out at the park and some kid comes along she calls them Sadie. It's really funny.

I still can't believe you have two girls! They are so adorable! It totally freaks me out to have two kids. I watch my kid play with a doll and how she slings it around and it concerns me a little. lol. I wish that our kids could play. ;)
